This course is designed to help you comply with the current Health & Safety Legislation.

This course will give you the basic knowledge and techniques in health & safety for yourself, your business, your staff, your clients and customers and the public.

The course can be tailored around your business needs by using scenarios related to your business.

At the end of this course, you will have the knowledge and fundamentals of Health and Safety in a workplace. This will help in avoiding accidents and injuries. You will learn how to develop an awareness of health and safety issues, and to understand what your duties and responsibilities are for yourself, those around you and your environment.

The course will consist of the current Health and Safety Legislations and any specific company health and safety polices that may be in place.

• Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations
• Display screen regulations
• Protective Equipment
• Control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH)

• Accident investigation and reporting

• Manual handling

Duration of the course: 1 days

The course is classroom based and can also be delivered online. Throughout this process you will be assessed and will also be given health and safety projects to be completed in your workplace. Once completed you will then return the projects to us.

You will have to pass the assessments and the projects of the course.

Upon completion of the course, you will receive a Health and Safety Executive approved certification. The certification is valid for 3 years.
